Catching Up

Just chilling listening to Walt’s Groove Box. Man that is a talent…just been too hot today. dogs were quiet, and when they went out, they bee lined to the shade. Was out all day clearing brush and stuff…hardly anything to write about.

Finishing an installation of a gnome desktop to a LAMP server. I just wanted to see it…it’s been hours and still installing itself. I like command line. Why did I do it?!

Were into it according to the National Debt Clock for over 11 Trillion. I think it’s closer to 13 Trillion, looking at government guarantees that may have to be paid out. If this problem is viewed as a per cent of GDP, we’ve been worse off. If the unfunded obligations are factored in, at least with numbers I’m seeing, not only are we worse off…but it’s a game changer! I’ve seen varied amounts, and this is high but plausible.

Solutions?

Grow our way out (yeah right)

Inflate our way out (likely)

default on our debt (improbable)

But please, oh please don’t take away our Facebook and I-phone’s. Pretty please?

Well, I’ve had a very productive day. My LAMP server desktop install is finishing up…and I DVRd a lot of HGTV, and it’s Beer Thirty somewhere!
